Process of elimination? Changing parts untill you get it right?.
Throwing parts at a truck untill you get it right, means you're paying for parts that you never needed to begin with. We aim to accurateley diagnose the problem and the root cause saving you time and money
Truck won't power up
Battery, key switch, contactor and controller checked in sequence — the fault is often the cheapest item on that list. We go through the basics before moving onto the more complex procedures.
Cuts out under load
Frequently a powerstage or connector fault rather than a failed controller. A low battery or bad battery connections are the main culprit behind this type of fault.
Intermittent lift or travel
Trace through the joystick and lever assemblies, accelerator units and direction switches, the wiring looms and contactor circuits — before the controller is touched.
Fault code with no obvious cause
A code points at a symptom, not a component. We read the system and find what's triggering it. Multiple fault codes are usually triggered by low battery voltage.
Battery won't hold charge
Battery diagnostics to establish whether it's the cells, the charger, or the truck drawing current it shouldn't. Sometimes it's simply a case of calibrating the discharge indicator to the correct truck voltage.
Motor controller repairs service.
Forklifts use motor control systems the older DC and modern AC inverters. These can be costly to replace, yet there is an option where we can provide a repair service for your contol system or possibly a service exchange controller.
Our engineers often carry spare controllers with them to make sure you're up and running, reducing downtime to your business.
Supplied, sourced, or repaired.
Replacement parts for the vast majority of forklifts, with genuine parts sourced where a repair isn't the right answer. All parts carry a manufacturer warranty.
AC & DC control systems
Replacement parts for a variety of forklifts — Jungheinrich Solopilots & Multipilots, Linde hydraulic levers, General Electric controllers, Zapi systems and AC inverters for various truck types.
Battery diagnostics
Diagnosis and repair of battery issues, so you know whether you're looking at cells, charger, or something on the truck itself.
Electric forklift repairs
Troubleshooting and repair on site or in the workshop. Engineers carry spares, so in many cases you're running again the same visit.
Forklift maintenance
Regular maintenance to keep trucks in condition and cut the unplanned stoppages that cost the most.
Genuine parts sourcing
Sourced genuine parts for electric forklifts where compatibility matters more than price.
Technical support
Call for technical assistance on a system you're working on. Often that's all it takes.
What our customers say
Questions we get asked.
How long does a repair usually take?
It depends on the fault, but most repairs are completed within one to three days.
Do you provide warranties on your parts?
Yes — parts come with a manufacturer warranty.
Where do you cover?
Most of the UK. The workshop is in Kingswinford, West Midlands, and engineers can attend site anywhere in the UK.
Can you help with machinery other than forklifts?
The focus is electric forklift trucks, but we also repair PCBs for industrial machinery such as column lifts. If you've got something specific, ask.
What if I've already been quoted for a replacement?
Call before you commit. If you've been told the truck is beyond repair, or the quote looks high, a second opinion costs nothing and often changes the answer.
Do you offer emergency or out-of-hours callout?
Yes, we can attend out of hours and weekends.
Tell us the symptom.
Perhaps we can help diagnose your problem over the phone and save you a call-out. This also helps us prepare when attending a breakdown, so we can diagnose your problem quickly and make sure we have the correct parts available should we need them.
